Why Aries Car Rental rates are competitive?
Our published rates on our website are inclusive of GST (goods & services tax), unlike some other car rentals, once the best 7 days rate is secured, the same rates apply on further extensions. E.g For a $25.00 per day vehicle on a 7 days special, the 8th days and so on will remain at $25.00 per day. Unless, pro-rated if some of the days falls on the peak season period.
Minimum requirements to hire a car?
Driver/s must be 21 years of age and above and holding a full valid driving license. No provisional or under probation license. Must provide valid physical driving license upon pick up.
Booking and reservation?
You can book online via our secured website. You will receive an automated reply informing you that we have received your booking and in the midst of processing it. A return confirmation will be sent via email and one day rental (non-refundable deposit) is required to reserve the vehicle. All paid bookings are guaranteed a vehicle. Our website does not provide live availability but rest assured, if selected vehicle not available, we will be in touch with you within the next 48 hours to provide the best alternative we can.
Walk in, call-in and online booking? What is the difference?
We strongly advise you to perform online booking. Reason being, you will get an instant quote with the explanation of the selected vehicles and all your booking requirements captured. That could also prevent miscommunication. However, if you need further clarification and would like instant assistance, you can call or best email us. Walk in and call in rates will be higher compared to our website as resources needs to be allocated to serve that section where time and costs are involved.
If the vehicle is unavailable at the point of booking, no charges to be made. One day rental (non-refundable deposit) is required to reserve the vehicle. In the event of cancellation,it will be forfeited.
We prefer all payments via credit cards – Master, Visa and Amex only. There’ll be a 6% surcharge for Amex. We also accept debit cards as well (Master or Visa) but it has to have driver’s name embossed on the card. If it does not, we need a proof of ownership of the card such as bank statement with the name and card details on it and a passport copy or an identification card. We understand some countries’ debit card do not have names on the card. We also accept cash, but it will be ONLY for the rental charges. The bond (security deposit) is required on a valid credit or debit card.
Can I pay with a different credit card when collecting the vehicle? How about if the driver and the payee is different person?
Yes, you can pay with a different credit or debit card upon pick up but card has to be present and upon verification done. A different payee is allowed with a condition he or she will be the additional driver included in the car rental agreement. A one-off additional driver fee for each driver and maximum 4 is allowed.
Is there a bond required?
Yes there is and the amount varies according to vehicle type and will be secured on your credit or debit card.
What is the difference between local and unlimited km plan? Do you do partial local and unlimited km plan?
For better savings and to suit your travel needs, we have the local 100km/day plan usage within 100km radius off Perth and the Unlimited km plan usage within 500km radius off Perth. With local 100km/day plan – Furthest up north Yancehp and down south Mandurah. With unlimited km plan – Furthest up north Geraldton and down south Albany.If out of 500km & within 1200km radius – there will be a remote surcharge. Within the boundaries of Exmouth, Meekatharra, Kalgoorlie, Norseman and Esperance.

What is an excess and how do I reduce it?
All our cars come with comprehensive insurance but there’s a standard excess. It’s a vehicle’s standard liability and the maximum amount you would have to pay in the event of an accident. The amount varies according to the vehicle and ranges from $500 – $3500 depending on the type of vehicle. E.g. A car with $500.00 standard liability means that any damages caused by hirer up to $500.00 in repair costs will be paid by the hirer. This payment for repair costs is called “excess”. However you can reduce it by taking the liability reduction option and could be reduced to as low as $99.
There’s also an administration fee of $110.00 in the event of an accident in regardless of fault on top of the excess.
What is not covered under the comprehensive insurance?
Our comprehensive insurance covers collision damages to the vehicle as a result of an accident limited to a maximum amount of $50,000.00.

What should I do in the event of an accident?
Please remain calm and do not admit liability or make any offer or promise of settlement without the company’s consent. Where there is damage to the vehicle or a person injured the police to be informed immediately. Promptly report the accident and all details to the company’s office together with a police report lodge within 24 hours. Our head office details are available on the Part B agreement.
Do refer to our Part B agreement under the In the event of an accident and acquire all relevant details from the 3rd party. At least their name, contact and insurer’s details.
Baby and children seats? Is it compulsory?
Yes it is compulsory for newborn to the age of 7. We do provide baby and booster seats for hire. Charges are available the 3rd step of your online booking process once you’ve selected your car hire plan on the extras column. Change of booking details?
Please send us an email or call our Perth CBD or Kewdale office (near airport) where the vehicle will be collected to confirm on the changes required. Minimum 24 hours before the pick up time. Best followed by an email.
